Some Borneo headhunters went to the Phillippines according to a Missionary I met there who lived with the midget sized Negrito tribes he said came from Borneo long ago. Best hunters in the world, can sneak up on an animal and kill it before it knows they are there. The Japanese invasion of Luzon Island made enemies of the Negrito's, could not leave camp alone or would not come back alive. I drove several miles across back country, rough terrain, in the 70's when in the Navy there. When I met the missionary he said I came on a good day. He teased, from their old traditions, when I asked why a good day. He said if someone died in their camp the first person that came into their camp lost their head. Glad it was a good day and they no longer did that. LOL!
